1. Who we are
PostPilot ("we", "us") operates the website at usepostpilot.app and the AI LinkedIn post generation service. For questions, contact hello@usepostpilot.app.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address (for sign-in via magic link)
- Usage data: topics you generate posts about, generated posts you save, and aggregated daily counts (for rate limiting)
- Billing data: handled entirely by Polar.sh — we never see or store your card details. We only store an anonymous Polar customer ID linking your account to your subscription.
- Analytics: anonymous page-view counts via Vercel Analytics (no cookies, no tracking across sites)
3. How we use your data
- To run the service (generate posts, enforce daily limits)
- To process subscriptions via Polar.sh (Merchant of Record)
- To send transactional emails (magic links, receipts)
- To send occasional product updates (you can unsubscribe in one click)
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your generated posts to train AI models.
4. Sub-processors we use
- Supabase — auth + database (EU region: eu-west-1)
- Anthropic — Claude API for AI generation. Anthropic does not retain your prompts or use them to train models.
- Vercel — hosting + analytics
- Polar.sh — billing (Merchant of Record handles all VAT worldwide)
- Resend — transactional + marketing emails
5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it entirely by emailing hello@usepostpilot.app. Account deletion is processed within 7 days and removes all your posts, profile, and usage history.
6. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days in advance.
